SVM Racing's Crono Expert Team 2 1/8 Scale 4WD Buggy
More About The Crono
The Crono has been the leader in the UK for the past 7 years and continues to beat consistantly all other companies. The Crono has yet to make a big mark in north america, but soon they will arrive on our shores and teams from SVM racing and Radiosistemi will be showing up at all the popular races in the near future. The only sad thing about the Crono is that the vehicle is manufactured in Italy and the instructions and race section need to have some translation for the beginner. If the builder has some experience in building R/C vehicles, it sure helps in the building of the Crono. You really have to think a few steps ahead in the building process and take your time. They have two versions of the Crono in the manual and you have to decide which version will fit your racing needs and pay close attention to the steps for that particular version. Another thing is that the parts fit together alright but in order to come out with a smooth vehicle some slight modification to the suspension system is required. I also would reccomend drilling out the shock pistons and not using the stock oil. I am planning on drilling out the pistons and changing to a lighter oil and will post the results here when I complete the change.

I have been in the R/C hobby for the past 15 years and have seen and owned a fair amount of different companies vehicles. I am currently racing a LOSI XXXNT and a Xray T1. The Crono is my first 1/8 scale 4wd and so far this is the best designed and most thoughout R/C vehicle I have owned to date. I think that when the hobbiest decides to break into the 1/8 scale division of the hobby, it brings a new level of excitement to the hobby.
